Portage Free Methodist Church

On Sunday's someone will be in the foyer to greet you. People will introduce themselves, that's just what we do! They may be wearing jeans, coats and ties, pants suits or dresses. We will help you make your way to the sanctuary where you will be given the weekly bulletin with the sermon outline.

At Portage Free Methodist we think church should never be dull and irrelevant. We have two great options for you...

CLASSIC - Sundays at 8:45 AM. Check out this heart-warming style of worship. This service is more quiet and contemplative. You'll find your favorite hymns featured alongside occasional worship choruses. or...

CONTEMPORARY - Sundays at 11:00 AM. Join us for this energetic and celebratory gathering. Here, we enjoy drama, video and popular worship music in a style reminiscent of your favorite radio station!

The first 20 minutes or so of both services will be music. Following music, there will be a Bible-based message usually lasting 25-30 minutes. We have monthly message themes, please locate this month's theme to the right of this page. The last Sunday of every month we will celebrate the Lord's Supper (communion.)

We will collect tithes and offerings - but - as a visitor, please do not feel that you need to contribute. Along the way, there will be a few announcements. Please ask if you want more information about anything at all. There will be times for prayer during each service.

We offer:

  * supervised children's church (Kid's Creek) for ages 0-5th grade
