Fire Student Ministries

Typical Teens

We realize that the teen years can be a really tough time. Our goal is to provide an environment of acceptance and growth for teens as well as a place where the Holy Spirit can work freely in their lives. We desire to see every teen have a life-changing encounter with God and His Word, the Bible, and as a result to make a lifelong decision to be radically devoted to Christ.

Junior High

Soulfire meets Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. for an evening of fun and learning. The program is designed to keep their interest in an atmosphere of active participation. The night will include: games, action-packed activities, small group discussion, a lesson that applies to where they are at in their lives. Our Jr. Teens meet for Christian education classes on Sundays at 9:50 a.m.

Senior High

Soulfire meets Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. You never know what to expect because our meetings vary from week to week. We usually start with some praise and worship songs, crowd breakers or games. Often there is discussion on a relevant topic and a look at God's view on the issue. The time includes the use of drama, video, music, etc. to communicate the message. We usually end with prayer for the needs of the group. Our Sr. Teens meet for Christian education classes on Sundays at 9:50 a.m.

Youth Events

Fun activities, trips and outreach events are scheduled regularly for both youth groups. Mission trips and service projects are also offered.

Discipleship

We believe that real accelerated growth for people of all ages happens in smaller groups. Teens wishing to be mentored by an adult should contact Kevin DeVries, the Youth Pastor.

These events are open to any student no matter where they are in their journey with God.
