Background

Pastor Kevin is our Youth Pastor. He has been serving at PFMC since August of 2003. Before joining our staff he served as Youth Pastor at the Village Evangelical Free Church in the south suburbs of Chicago, where he also grew up. Kevin received a Bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry from Taylor University Fort Wayne.

Family

Kevin met his wife Cathy while at Taylor and the two have been married since August 1, 1998. They have a daughter named Katie (4) and a son named Joshua (1). Cathy is a Licensed Nurse working part-time at Rambling Road Pediatrics. She is also highly involved in the youth ministry as well.

Hobbies and Interests

Kevin loves sports, especially Chicago sports. He is a die hard Cubs & Bears fan, but would enjoy talking about any sports topic or team you might bring up. He is also pretty good at sports games on his PS2. Kevin is also a big music lover and you can often over hear him singing or playing his guitar.

Spiritual Gifts

Pastor Kevin has the gifts of Leadership and Music. He has a very fun personality and loves to interact with new people and make them feel welcome. He also leads worship in the contemporary service with his gift of music.

Some Favorite Books

He loves books by Max Lucado & Randy Alcorn. He also has recently been challenged by "Velvet Elvis" and encouraged by "Messy Spirituality."

Little Known Facts

He loves to get autographs at sporting events. He personal has collected over 60 athletes from the NFL, NBA, and MLB.
