We exist to develop faithful followers of Christ who will then develop other faithful followers of Christ.
As faithful followers of Christ, we pay special attention to going out and finding the lost, growing deeper in our relationship with God, giving ourselves away and living together in a way that crosses typical boundaries.
LIVE
We dream of a church where the typical "barriers" do not exist. Imagine a church where people love and accept each other, no matter their color, gender, age or economic status! Much is gained when young and old, or rich and poor, or black and white spend time together as fellow members of God's family!
“Live” is about living in community with God and with others. It’s about feeling safe to ask questions. It’s about having friends to lean on in times of trouble. It’s about loving one another despite differences. It’s looking past economic and racial barriers to being an authentic community of believers. “Live” is where it all starts. Meeting people and meeting God.
GO
We dream of an uncommon, all out, energized effort as a community to help people who are far from God become his followers.
PFMC has always been known as a church that opens our front doors wide open to the community. It’s part of our DNA as a church to invite people in who are looking for something spiritual and to help them find God.
“Go” is all about opening our doors to new people joining this faith community. "Go" means pursuing and embracing those who are "missing" and bringing them "home" to God.
GROW
We dream of spiritual discovery opportunities, experiences and mentoring relationships that will expand and deepen people’s spiritual life.
"Grow" is about becoming a church that values biblical knowledge and spiritual truth by teaching people to be self-learners and self-feeders spiritually. “Grow” is about providing people with opportunities and training that will ensure personal spiritual development for a closer walk with Jesus. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, we have a place for you to discover and learn.
GIVE
We dream of being God's hands: expressing God's love to others - according to their needs and on their turf.
Probably the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word “give” is a church asking for money. Sure, giving is about sharing our financial resources, but it’s more than that. It’s about giving of our time and interests as well. “Give” is about looking beyond ourselves to the needs of others and saying….”how can I help?”
The Bible calls us to “share each others burdens,” and at PFMC we want to care for all people, both inside and outside the church.
What's coming up...
Consider how your perspective would change if you found out you had thirty days to live. After the initial shock, you'd probably resolve to squeeze all you could from the days that remain. You'd say what you really think. You'd love with abandon. You'd focus on whatever you care about most. In short, you'd stop wasting precious time, and in whatever time you had left, you'd throw yourself into becoming the person God intended you to be.
